For Sale Scam

A new scam which could have deadly consequences has come to our attention.

Home owners selling their homes, please be aware Suspects are knocking on doors of homes with For Sale signs and requesting to view the property. Some even go as far as to explain that the estate agent (Whose name often appears on the board) has sent them. Unsuspecting home owners then welcome these suspects into their homes where the suspects freely roam around viewing the home and sometimes even taking photos on their cell phones.

Majority of the time the suspects leave and return at a later stage knowing the ins and outs of your home and any weaknesses which they may have spotted in your security whilst viewing the house. Sometimes, tragically, they attack once they have been welcomed into the home.

Please do not let anyone into your home unless you have confirmed their visit with an estate agent. If you cannot contact your estate agent, get B-SECURE armed response to escort you while you show your home.

These types of situations are exactly the type of situations remote panics were designed for.
